Stavros obtained Captain’s Class C’ Diploma “Speed Boat license and skipper license’ after graduating from “Merchant Marine Academy of Preveza”. He started his career at sea in 2000, on board of merchant vessels as an Apprentice Officer. On board m/y O’RION, Stavros has been working since 2008, providing his services and experience as a professional crewmember. Stavros is a very willing and polite person, and he enjoys sharing information with his clients on board. Whenever he is not on board, he spends his free time doing several sports and physical exercise.

Panagiotis Somponis
Greek / 1981
Panagiotis holds Engineer’s Diploma Class A’ from “Ministry of Marine Mercantile”. He has attended seminars on “MARPOL Issues”, “Operation and Maintenance of Piston and Screw Air Compressors” and “Crisis Management”. He also holds certificates in “Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances”, “Ro-Ro Passenger”, ”Tanker Safety”, “Advanced Open Water Diver” and “Speed Boat license”. Panagiotis commenced his service at sea in 2000 working as Apprentice Engineer on board several motor vessels and motor tankers. He has been the engineer of m/y O”RION for the last three years, and he is currently attending a MSc. in Marine Engineering Management.

Konstantinos is a graduate of the Chef d’ Oeuvre School, and he has been working as Chef for many years. Konstantinos has worked in numerous 5* Hotels and in well known Restaurants in Greece. In 2008 he decided to bring his knowledge and experience on charter motor yachts.

Vangelis holds Class A’ Steward License and has been working on board of luxury cruise ships (Celebrity Cruises, Royal Cruise Line, Royal Olympic Cruises and Sun Line Cruises), for over than 10 years. Vangelis is considered to be the heart of the crew on board m/y O’RION, for the last 12 years. He is extremely professional and takes great pride and pleasure in his work and nothing makes him happier than seeing all the passengers having a wonderful time.

Maria Panagiotari
Greek / 1989
Maria holds Certificates in “Life Saving & Fire Fighting Appliances”, “Ro-Ro- Passenger”, “Overseas Marine Operational Training” and “Speed Boat license”. Furthermore, she finished her studies at a Technical Lyceum, and after completing her training on board she will obtain Captain’s Diploma Class C. In addition, she holds a Fashion Designer Diploma. She is a willing and hardworking person.

Ourania-Frini Paira
Greek / 1987
Ourania was born in 1987 in Greece. After graduating school, she started working in restaurants and later on in various cafes and luxury hotels. She has graduated from Tourism Professions School and is also a certified beautician and masseuse, specializing in hot stones and cellulite massage treatment. Ourania also holds certificates from STCW in Basic Safety and Security Awareness, Interior Intermediate Hospitality Course from Nautical Academy, Level 2 Food safety in Catering, VHF, Open Water Diver and speed boat license. She decided to start working on board yachts due to her love for the sea in 2014 and since then she has served for three consecutive summer seasons on a luxury motor yacht. This season Ourania offers her kind smile and service on board “O’RION”.

He has been offering his services on board luxury yachts and motor vessels, for over than nineteen years and counting. George is an exceptional asset to his crew, holds speed boat license and loves water sports. He has been working on m/y O’RION since 2006.
