Shirelle Paris
Chef & MateShirelle was raised in Israel, in a small town where people cared a lot about nature. Her family grew their own organic fruits and vegetables. For her, there is no substitute for the freshest, local ingredients when designing a menu. She recalls, “We always used to host a lot of guests for dinner. Even as a really young kid I was there to help my mother prepare food for a crowd. I loved being in the kitchen with her. She was a very talented, creative cook and taught me all different types of cuisine from all over the world.”
While Shirelle's favorite culinary style is Mediterranean, she caters to lots of different preferences, from Asian cuisine to American comfort food. As a trained nutritionist, Shirelle provides delicious yet healthy choices. She is especially creative when it comes to special or restricted diets. Shirelle will be attending the highly acclaimed Ashburton Cookery School and Chefs Academy for a month in August to further enhance her amazing culinary skills this summer and ready to welcome guests aboard Bamarandi for the upcoming season!
Shirelle's goal is to make Bamarandi a home away from home for her guests. The yacht has a superb layout, whether guests want to be together, or find a little personal space. There are lots of toys on board and Shirelle is a patient instructor for guests who want to try something new. She says, "I am really relaxed and easy going. Whatever guests need I'm there for them. I love making people happy and serving great food is my way to show happiness and love."
A third crew member TBA will join Bamarandi.
