Captain

USCG Master 3000 License -

Josh was born in San Diego, CA in 1976. He comes from a family lineage of sailors from Europe and the New England area.

Happy Hour’s Captain spent most of his childhood on the West Coast which spurred his love of the outdoors. He spent most of his free time rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding, hiking or camping. Captain Josh always had an adventurous spirit, which inevitably led him to the sea.

After finishing school, he went travelling abroad where he learned of the yachting industry. He spent 10+ years on various yachts ranging in size from 80’-220’ cruising and chartering the South Pacific, Mediterranean, Bahamas, Caribbean, Central America, and East and West coast USA. Capt. Josh soon learned he loved driving boats. With a zest to learn more he got his hands on any and all types of vessels. Going from sailing yachts to motor yachts to tug boats and back to motor yachts Capt. Josh can drive anything on the water anywhere in the world. He now holds a USCG 1600 Ton Masters license with a 3000 ITC tonnage rating for all oceans.

The captain of Happy Hour’s passion is in showing people places and experiences known to him unknown to most and accessible only by boat.
