The luxury motor yacht BROADWATER is a private yacht and is not available to charter.
BROADWATER, previously named RASSELAS, was built by Feadship and delivered to her owner in 1994, she later underwent a refit in 2020.
BROADWATER can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins consisting of a primary suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a VIP suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, 3 cabins with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities and a cabin with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities.
Amenities on board include Air Conditioning, Beach club, Bicycles, Exercise equipment, Gym, Jacuzzi on deck, Stabilizers At Anchor and Wi-Fi.

Clare Draper
Clare comes from a background in Sailing. Her love for adventure, being creative and organized naturally lead her into the yachting industry. Her outgoing bubbly personality and passion for travel keep her enthusiasm for work in full bloom. Clare is committed to exceeding guest expectations with her interior team by her side.
Stuart Honeywill
Stuart has been with the BROADWATER team since 2020. He started onboard as an exceptionally qualified First Officer and Relief Captain. Stuart has a vast array of expertise and yachting experience to share with his guests onboard. He enjoys being at sea, navigating to new places, and offers first-hand knowledge on a multitude of charter destinations around the world.
James Harris
James started out as a sailing instructor in the UK. His love for being on the water brought him to yachting where he has built a career working on exceptional yachts. He is an advanced PADI diver, working toward his dive Master. James is always exploring new places and looking around the corner for the next special spot to impress guests.
Will Smith
Will worked on cruise ships for several years until he transitioned into yachting. He loves the variety of work, constant learning, and being able to travel to extraordinary places. Will has been with the Broadwater program for three years now and is currently working towards his class 1 unlimited engineering license. He is outstanding at making sure everything is running smoothly and safely.
Chantal De Bruin
Chantal started her life in the corporate industry straight out of school before finally succumbing to her love of the sea. She has a natural wanderlust and after traveling all over the world for pleasure she finally settled into the yachting industry. When she is not giving the best service possible, Chantal loves to travel, explore new places and enjoy her time outdoors.
Sandro Rodriguez Perez
German Sandro comes from a Navy background where he worked as Cadet and graduated as a ship mechanic in 2017. He then sailed across from Panama to NZ on a 15m sail boat which grew his attraction even more for the yachting industry. Sandro wants to progress up the engineering ladder and is proud to be a part of the Broadwater crew. He looks forward to welcoming guests on board and ensuring their stay is pleasant.
Andrea Bio
Andrea’s hunger for adventure made her switch up her sedentary job for the yachting industry. She enjoys the excitement of traveling and meeting new people. Her amazing eye for detail ensures housekeeping and the guest's experience is always up to the ultimate standard.
Ana Tesic
Ana’s always been passionate about working at sea. She has a degree in physiotherapy which is how she got her foot in the industry onboard cruise ships and she quickly transitioned into yachts. She is a very active and attentive character which makes guests feel taken care of while they enjoy their time onboard.
Elani Botes
Elani worked as a Sports Psychologist before starting her yachting career. She has completed her OOW and is now working towards her Master's license. Elani’s enthusiastic and passionate personality ensures the guest's experience is the most memorable, whether it's a water sport, beach, or excursion day.
Scott Butler
Scott worked as a diesel mechanic for Caterpillar in South Africa and began working on oil rigs before joining his first yacht. His favorite part of his job is the challenges he is presented with and subsequently finding solutions for them. Scott has been with Broadwater for six years and his strive for safety ensures the vessel is always performing to its optimal standard.
Jesper Weseman
Prior to yachting, Jasper was working in Michelin star restaurants when the opportunity came up to work on a superyacht and he has not looked back since. Jasper enjoys the rotation of different guests so he can present his diverse skills. He loves producing excellent food from different markets around the world. Jasper is dedicated to making sure guests have a five-star unique experience on Broadwater.
Will Clifford
Will joined yachting after studying English Literature in London. He always loved the water and knew it was a great industry to join where he could meet new people on a day-to-day basis. Will enjoys running, putting his degree to good use and reading when he has free time. Will’s great optimistic nature is a great start to your day.
Tagan Cole
Tagan grew up on the water whilst boating in the Isles of Scillies, she enjoys traveling and the chase for an adventure which led her to yachting. She has a lovely and joyful personality that makes guests feel welcomed and at home. When Tagan is not on board, she enjoys pursuing her passion for photography.
Jean Niemann
Jean lives in a beach house in a coastal town in South Africa. If he is not busy with yachting, He’s always surfing and looking for new spots along with scuba diving, wakeboarding and camp trips. This is his 6th year in yachting and he is close to completing his officer ticket. Jean is always up for an unexpected adventure and a laugh and he enjoys taking guests out for watersports and sunset cruises. He is also the resident karaoke king!
