Crew
Ray Nicholson
1st MateCopihue’s first mate is Ray Nicholson who first sailed on square riggers in the Caribbean, and loves the tradition of the Tall Ships. The responsibility for all Copihue's gleaming bright work is down to Ray's impeccable eye and passion for working with wood. Over the last twenty years he has sailed a wide variety of vessels and is a RYA Yachtmaster instructor. Ray shines when conditions turn bad and stoically helms through the worst the weather can throw at him. When the weather is more benevolent he will happily guide you should you wish to take the helm. He is also a PADI certified Rescue Diver, but his main talent is providing a joke for every occasion (warning: some WILL leave you groaning.)
Alison Hill
Stewardness & ChefCopihue's stewardess is Alison Hill who joined the team in 2011. She caught the sailing bug in 2008 when her first sailing experience turned into a full time passion; Alison left her previous life as a hairdresser in London to embark on a new adventure in the Windward Islands, crunning sailing holidays on board a 74 ft schooner. Alison’s attention to detail keeps the interior of Copihue looking shiny and spotless, and she will provide you with tasty, home style cooking using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Cocktails and appetisers appear at sundown, and there is always an endless supply of chocolate biscuits (unless the captain gets to them first).

U.S. Customs & Border Protection
The yachting industry has no global listing service to which all charter yachts must subscribe to, making it impossible to ascertain a truly up-to-date view of the market. Charter Index is a news and information service and not always informed when yachts leave the charter market, or when they are recently sold and renamed, it is not always clear if they are still for charter. Whilst we endeavour to maintain accurate information, the existence of a listing on Charter Index should in no way supersede official documentation supplied by the representatives of a yacht.
