Sylvain originates from Mali but has been raised in France. Apart from being a sailor and a diving instructor, he is also a musician, an artist and a passionate traveller. Having visited over 30 countries since the age of 19, he decided to transit from land to sea after his last crossing of the Sahara. For the last 6 years he has been sailing and diving through the Atlantic, Caribbean and Mediterranean seas as well as the Siam Gulf with only one desire – as he puts it – “to explore the biggest desert of all: the Sea.”

Paphatsarin graduated in Master of Architecture (Industrial Design) in 2009. She worked as a graphic designer for 4 years. Since then, she has been interested in alternative treatment such as traditional Thai massage,Chiropractic and Chinese massage. In 2011, she has successfully completed a training program “Rebalancing the Body with Holistic Health Care” in Thailand. In 2014, she moved to London where she worked for Kobkun Thai Therapy as a specialist therapist.

Economist by education, Chef by passion. After graduating from Kharkiv National University of Economics with a BA in Management and Marketing, Yulia decided to develop her endless passion for food. She gathered experience working in numerous restaurants in Kiev, where she had a chance to work with prominent Ukrainian Chefs. After she decided to join the yachting industry she worked as a Stewardess on board power yachts MY FROG and TUTYA respectively. Yulia has therefore extensive experience in providing top quality service to high profile clients and has a keen eye for detail. Trying to improve her skills, she has recently qualified for Silver Service. Very kind and attentive to people’s needs, she makes every effort to ensure that guests will enjoy every moment of their stay on board LUCY Z.
